If you have a photo that's 11 3/4 by 14 7/8 and you want to put it in a frame that is 18 x 20, with a 3/4" matte cut-out extension (except for the bottom which should be 50% larger than the rest of the margin) ... how long would it take you to calculate the cutting dimensions of the matte? And would your trust that you got it right the first time?
Well, Matte-Cut will tell you instantly that you want a top and bottom border of 1 9/16ths and sides of 2 3/8ths.
What's more, it will show you just what it will look like after the cut is made.
Matte-Cut will work in inches or centimeters, and decimals or fractions*
And if you're going the other way - enter your image size, and the matte border size, and Matte-Cut will calculate your frame size, or image size, if you're doing your own digital prints.
